Terms of Service

1. The service

Clarko ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered desktop assistant for Windows. By subscribing, you ("you") get access to the desktop app and the right to send a reasonable volume of requests through our backend (currently 300/day).

2. Subscription & billing

Subscriptions are recurring, billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the link in your welcome email or by contacting us. After cancellation, your access continues until the end of the paid period.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Clarko to:

Generate illegal content, harassment, malware, or content infringing on others' rights
Reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the software
Abuse the rate limits or attempt to circumvent quotas

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Anthropic

The reasoning model used by Clarko is Anthropic's Claude. Use of the service is also subject to Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy.

5. No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the accuracy of AI-generated responses. Don't rely on Clarko for medical, legal, or financial decisions.

6. Privacy

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to you. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
